CBC, in cooperation with the Consolacion church and the local government of Consolacion, held a medical mission on June 18, treating 145 patients in a matter of approx. five hours. Doctors gave medical and dental treatment, blood typing and testing, and free reading glasses were given for those aged 40 and above. CBC students interviewed and prayed with each person treated as a first step towards future follow-up for possible Bible study. ACU interns helped by steadying heads for the dentist and entertaining children of the patients. CBC faculty and staff served in various capacities as needed and directed the event, working with the community government officials. It was a great day of team work in service to the community.
